670 people evacuated in Novosibirsk due to fire in college
In Novosibirsk, 670 people were evacuated as a result of a fire at a teacher training college. This was announced on December 9 in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Nizhny Novgorod region in the Telegram channel.
"According to operational data, the fire occurred in an office on the third floor with a transition to the roof of a three—story building of the Novosibirsk Pedagogical College," the department said.
There was no information about the victims.
67 people and 17 pieces of equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire. A fire extinguishing headquarters was deployed at the scene.
A day earlier, four people, including three children, were injured in a fire in a five-story apartment building in Armavir, Krasnodar Territory. The fire occurred in an apartment on Markova Street. The fire was reported at 18:41 (coincides with Moscow time). The first units arrived at the scene within a few minutes. It is specified that furniture and personal belongings were on fire on an area of about 30 square meters. m.
