This was announced on December 9 by the head of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin.
"It is necessary to ensure the possibility of seizing property that, although it was not obtained as a result of a corruption crime, was alienated to third parties in order to conceal it and avoid compensation for damage. It is necessary to expand the list of crimes for which confiscation is applied," he wrote in an article for RBC.
