In Florida, one person was injured during an emergency landing on the highway.
In Brevard County, Florida, a small plane made an emergency landing on the lanes of an interstate highway right during evening traffic. As a result, the aircraft collided with a car and one person was injured. This was reported on October 8 by FOX35 TV channel.
"FHP reported that the aircraft— a multi—engine fixed-wing aircraft-was attempting an emergency landing on a highway when it collided with a 2023 Toyota Camry," the publication said.
There were two 27-year-old men on board the plane: a pilot from Orlando and a passenger from Temple Terrace. None of them were injured.
The 57-year-old woman was driving her Toyota Camry at the time of the collision. She was taken to the Viera Hospital with minor injuries.
The reasons for the forced landing of the aircraft are still unknown. FHP said the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will investigate the incident.
In February of this year, Ocean Infinity has already resumed the search for the missing flight MH370. The Armada vessel was supposed to take part in them. At that time, it was clarified that Ocean Infinity had entered into an agreement with the Malaysian government on the principle of "no finds— no fee."
The plane carrying out flight MH370 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing disappeared over the Indian Ocean on March 8, 2014. There were 239 people on board the ship. Fragments of the liner were subsequently discovered off the coast of Madagascar, as well as in Mozambique, but the bulk of them, as well as the crash site, could not be found. In addition, it was not possible to establish the exact cause of the disaster.
Later, on July 30, 2018, the final report was published, which stated that during the search and rescue operation, specialists made a number of mistakes that need to be taken into account in the future.
Aviation expert Tim Termini suggested in July 2019 that the plane could probably have been hijacked. The attacker could be one of the passengers or crew. In addition, the specialist admitted that the plane crash could have been provoked by ground services. Nevertheless, the main version is that the actions of the pilot led to the crash of the liner. In February 2020, former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott suggested that the flight could have gone missing due to the suicide of the pilot.
On December 3, it became known that Malaysia would resume the deep-sea search for the missing flight MH370 in 2014. It was noted that they will begin on December 30.
