The governor of Kamchatka ordered to strengthen the clearing of Petropavlovsk after the cyclone

The elimination of the consequences of the new Okhotsk Sea cyclone continues in Kamchatka. This was announced on December 9 by Governor Vladimir Solodov in his Telegram channel.

"The situation is particularly acute in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky — the head of Evgeny Belyaev will personally monitor the progress and quality of work of city services," said the head of the region.

Additional high-speed shifts will be used to transport residents, and more than 90 units of snow removal equipment and 60 units on regional highways are operating on the roads of the region. The traffic police provides duty and assistance in eliminating congestion, residents were urged not to use personal vehicles unnecessarily.

Earlier, on December 8, it was reported that due to adverse weather conditions, the work of government agencies and organizations, except for life-supporting ones, was switched to remote mode.
