There is no talk of a new meeting between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, before the New Year. This was announced on December 8 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

On December 5, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that telephone conversations between Putin and American leader Trump were not planned yet, but could be arranged at any time if necessary.
