The psychoanalyst explained the need for black PR for artists
Irina Smolyarchuk, director of the Anti-Crisis Psychological Center, a psychoanalyst, explained why artists need black PR.
In an interview with Radio 1 on December 5, she noted that for many public people, the attention of the audience becomes not just a PR tool, but a real vital need.
Experts note that the roots of this behavior are often related to personal characteristics: a person choosing a public profession usually has a pronounced hysterical type — he constantly needs an exchange of energy and information, he is charged by people and perceives their attention as a source of inspiration.
Psychoanalysts explain that such "stage theatricality" helps such people feel alive and in demand. The need to be noticed, discussed, or even become the object of gossip serves as a unique way to keep in touch with oneself, especially when internal contact is not stable enough. External assessments become part of the formation of one's own image.
According to them, a vivid image and outrage for many creative personalities is not just a professional tool, but an important part of internal nourishment and a way of interacting with the outside world.
In May, Russian cosmonauts did not recognize the space flight of the New Shepard spacecraft with a female crew, which included singer Katy Perry, they called it a PR campaign.
