The "black sky" mode will be introduced in Krasnoyarsk
In Krasnoyarsk, from 19:00 on Monday, December 8, the regime of adverse weather conditions (NMR) or "black sky" will begin to operate. It will last until 19:00 on Tuesday, December 9th.
Local enterprises included in the register of the regional Ministry of Ecology and under the control of supervisory authorities are required to promptly report on the start of emission reductions.
The inspectors of the economic supervision will monitor how the events are carried out, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.
Residents are asked not to do jobs that pollute the air.
The previous time, the "black sky" regime was in effect in Krasnoyarsk from Saturday, November 29. It lasted until 7 p.m. until Monday, December 1st.
NMR is a temporary special combination of meteorological factors that contribute to the accumulation of pollutants in the surface air layer. For residents, the "black sky" mode is a signal of the possibility of unpleasant odors, light smog or haze.
