The first ice crossing has been launched in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The road was equipped across the Igarskaya Bayou in the city of Igarka. The maximum loading capacity of the ferry is 5 tons.

KrasnoyarskMedia news agency writes that 129 ice crossings are expected to be operational in the region this winter.

Earlier it was reported that the first ice crossing was opened in the Khabarovsk Territory on November 25. It is located near the village of Nelkan in the Ayano-May district.

And in Yakutia, there are already almost 20 winter roads. On December 3, two more ice crossings were allowed to operate across the Vilyui River in the Vilyui district and the Aldan River in the Ust-Maisky district. The ice has reached such a thickness that cars weighing no more than 3 tons can move along the crossings.

When the crossing opens depends on the actual state of the ice and the weather. It is necessary to use only equipped crossings and comply with all the requirements indicated on the information signs. Administrative liability may be imposed for entering a body of water in an unauthorized place.
