A man was injured as a result of a Ukrainian UAV strike in the Zaporizhia region.

In the Zaporizhia region, a civilian was injured as a result of a drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the private sector of Vasilevka. This was announced on December 8 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

According to him, the victim was hospitalized with shrapnel wounds to the head, and he is receiving all necessary assistance.

"The condition is assessed as stable," Balitsky summed up in the Telegram channel.

It will become a field laboratory for testing the latest weapons systems and protect the region's infrastructure from drone attacks.

Earlier that day, Balitsky reported that 11,958 subscribers were de-energized as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack in Kamenka-Dneprovskaya and the settlements of Vodiane, Dneprovka, Michurino and Zavetnoye. He noted that the power engineers are working in an enhanced mode to restore power supply, but the work is complicated by the threat of repeated strikes.
