After the death of People's Artist of Russia, actor and TV presenter Yuri Nikolaev, an inheritance case was opened in Moscow. This became known from the legal materials, which were reviewed by RIA Novosti on December 7.

"Nikolaev, Yuri Alexandrovich. <...> The inheritance case is open," the materials say.

It is specified that the case is being handled by a Moscow notary.

Nikolayev died on November 4 at the age of 76. At the same time, a source from Izvestia told about the TV presenter's hospitalization due to a deteriorating health condition. The doctors took him to the intensive care unit. As the interlocutor noted, Nikolaev had been fighting cancer for a long time.

According to director Nikita Mikhalkov, the TV presenter managed to broadcast charm through the screen, and his programs, including Morning Mail and Morning Star, enjoyed "gigantic" success due to the opportunity provided to viewers to hear rare foreign music.

The actor was buried on November 8 at the Troekurovsky cemetery. The ceremony was attended by colleagues, friends and fans of the TV presenter, including TV presenter and doctor Elena Malysheva, TV presenter Alla Danko, singer and musician Alexander Buinov and others.
