A boat carrying migrants has capsized off the coast of the Greek island of Crete, drowning 18 people. This was reported on December 6 by Skai TV channel with reference to the Coast Guard of Greece.

"On Saturday, a tragedy occurred off the coast of Crete: a half—sunken boat with foreign passengers was discovered," the publication says.

It is specified that two people managed to be rescued. At the moment, specialists are conducting a search and rescue operation.
