The New Year's show for the whole family "Uncle Stepa" will be held in Moscow again

In 2025, the poem "Uncle Stepa" celebrates its 90th anniversary. In honor of this date, the creators of the show have prepared a special gift for the audience — an updated visual and scenic concept. A festive winter park with benches, snowmen and snow-covered alleys will replace the usual decorations of the station in the lobby. On stage, with the help of the latest stage technologies, light and multimedia, the audience, along with the characters of the play, will visit a chocolate factory, a polyclinic, a zoo and other places familiar from childhood, filled with magic and warmth.

Each episode of the show is designed so that children and adults feel like participants in the action: viewers will be able to meet their favorite characters, see how the lines of the poem come to life, and finally take a picture with Uncle Styopa himself. Thanks to the new technical capabilities of the venue and live musical accompaniment, the production will acquire even greater dynamics and expressiveness, while maintaining the traditional kindness and family mood.

The audience is already waiting for their favorite characters of the New Year's show: Uncle Styopa, Zvezdopadov, children and other characters of Sergei Mikhalkov's poems will meet again on stage to remind of kindness, friendship and mutual assistance.

"We take our project very carefully. "Uncle Styopa" is a story on which more than one generation grew up, and it is important for us that it continues to live, uniting parents and children. Every year we try to bring something new to the performance, while preserving the spirit of the original and the feeling of celebration, without which it is impossible to imagine the New Year," says Anna Mikhalkova.

Traditionally, more than 40 artists will be involved in the production, including theater, circus and musical actors, as well as dance show ballet, stuntmen and acrobats. In the lobby, guests will be greeted by a winter amusement park with interactive areas, workshops, animation and practical jokes. This year, the show takes place on the territory of Petrovsky Park, where additional winter activities await the audience: the opportunity to visit the museum, ride the ice rink and spend the whole day in the atmosphere of a New Year's holiday.
