Hockey club (HC) New York Rangers defeated Ottawa in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season match. The match took place on December 4 and ended with a score of 4:2.

Mika Zibanejad (4th minute), Vladislav Gavrikov (10th minute), Will Borgen (28th minute), and Artemi Panarin (60th minute) scored goals for the winners, bringing the number of points in regular NHL games to 900.
