KDK disqualified the head coach of FC Baltika for three RPL matches
The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFU) has disqualified the head coach of FC Baltika Andrey Talalaev for three matches of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This was announced on December 4 by the head of the committee, Artur Grigoryants.
"The KDC took into account the existence of disciplinary violations against Talalaev in the past — over the past two years. Taking into account all the circumstances of the case, all the videos and explanations of the parties, the KDK made a decision. For insulting behavior towards rivals, disqualify Talalaev for three RPL matches," Sport-Express quotes him as saying.
It is specified that the coach has the opportunity to appeal. The head of the KDK clarified that Talalaev himself was present at the meeting and admitted that he had made an indecent gesture towards Spartak. The club also apologized for Talalaev's indecent gesture and asked not to punish the specialist as much as possible.
Earlier, on November 26, the KDK fined Spartak and CSKA following the results of the match of the 16th round of the Russian Premier League, which ended with the victory of the red and white with a score of 1:0. Grigoryants noted that the reason for the sanctions were offensive chants from fans of both teams, as well as a fight that occurred at the end of the match. The decision was made on the totality of violations of the disciplinary regulations.
