Realtor Alina Pravotorina said that apartment sellers should prepare for stricter checks, including passing a polygraph. This trend has formed in the secondary housing market after the story of fraud around Larisa Dolina's apartment.

In conversation with aif.ru On Wednesday, December 3, the expert noted that she herself had not yet encountered such a thing, but such measures were already being discussed in the professional environment, and in the current conditions they would not surprise anyone due to the many alarming cases on the market.

According to Pravotorina, realtors often have to deal with situations where additional security measures are needed to protect citizens from fraudsters. She gave the example of an elderly woman who sold an apartment through a realtor and, despite the agency's wariness, assured everyone that she was acting in her best interests.

Even after she was invited to interviews twice, first to the police, then to the bank, the woman insisted that she was in control of everything. As a result, having received a large sum of cash, she nevertheless handed over the money to the scammers, being sure that she was "performing an important task."

Pravotorina added that such stories only confirm the need for stricter checks and enhanced protection of sellers from criminal schemes.

On December 3, lawyer Alexander Dobrovinsky explained the reason for the scandal surrounding Larisa Dolina's apartment. According to him, the singer's lawyers did not give clear comments for a long time. He added that people's attention to this scandal will remain "for some time yet," and this is a mistake solely by the Valley. He also gave examples from his judicial practice and stressed that a lawyer should be a "shield and mouthpiece" that takes on all attacks on the client, the website writes. kp.ru .

On the same day, NSN wrote that in 2024, according to Rosreestr, more than three thousand transactions involving elderly sellers were declared invalid. Currently, more than 10,000 such cases are being considered in the courts of first instance.

Dolina's concert director Sergey Pudovkin said on December 2 360.ru that the story of the apartment became a serious test for Dolina, primarily an emotional one. However, there is no need to talk about any "cancellation" of the artist.

Clinical psychologist Vladimir Krupin on November 24, in an interview with RT, commented on the situation with the return of apartments according to the "Valley scheme." The expert admitted that there are significantly fewer elderly people who deliberately commit fraud than those who actually become victims of fraudsters. He suggested that the introduction of a psychological and psychiatric examination when selling an apartment could reduce the number of such cases.

On October 27, Polina Lurie, the buyer of Dolina's apartment, appealed the decision to invalidate the purchase and sale of the artist's real estate to the Court of Cassation, but the complaint was rejected. On November 28, the defendants in the Dolina apartment sale case were sentenced to up to seven years in prison.
