An underground gambling club allegedly organized by Russians has stopped operating in Thailand, the Khaosod portal reported on December 3.

It is noted that local residents informed the police about the existence of the institution. They reported that foreigners were gambling in a rented house on Phangan Island.

"Inside, the police found the suspects — six Russians, a Romanian, an Israeli, a German and a British citizen," the publication says.
