Liksutov spoke about the creation of an artificial ventilation device in Technopolis Moscow

The Metanephros company, which is a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, was the first in Russia to receive a registration certificate for hemodialysis equipment. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport and Industry.

The device created by the company purifies the patient's blood in acute and chronic renal failure. "The planned production capacity is from 500 to 1000 such systems per year," Liksutov said.

It is also planned to launch the production of consumables as part of the project. "The company has created cartridges with a specially prepared dry mixture and disposable dialyzer filters," the deputy mayor said. "It is planned to produce from four to eight million pieces of auxiliary medical devices per year."

Hemodialysis is performed in patients with acute or chronic renal failure. In addition, it is carried out for severe poisoning, electrolyte imbalance and some other diseases.

On behalf of Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Moscow pays special attention to the development of the medical industry, Liksutov recalled. "Residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ regularly develop unique technologies and introduce them into the healthcare sector," he added.

Sobyanin previously presented a strategy for the development of Moscow industry until 2030. An important place in it is given to the sites of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. According to the mayor, by 2030 it is planned to significantly expand the SEZ: their territory will grow to 600 hectares, the production infrastructure will cover an area of 5.6 million square meters. m. Over 90 thousand specialists will work at the enterprises of the SEZ.
