Kirill Lysogorsky, Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, has been appointed First Deputy Minister. The corresponding decree, signed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishutin, was published on December 1 on the official Internet portal of legal information.
"Appoint Kirill Alekseevich Lysogorsky as the first Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, relieving him of his post," the text of the document says.
Alexey Matushansky, who previously served as director of the Department of Strategic Development and Corporate Policy at the Ministry of Industry and Trade, has been appointed as the new deputy minister.
Lysogorsky assumed the post of Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade in 2022, and in the Ministry of Industry and Trade he oversees issues related to the military-industrial complex (MIC), chemical disarmament, state defense order and other important areas.
On October 31, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov appointed former First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vasily Osmakov Deputy Minister of Defense of the country.
