Blogger Lercek appreciated the experience of relationships during house arrest
Blogger Valeria Chekalina (Lercek) said that the time she has to spend under house arrest has taught her to value her home and family leisure more. She told about this on December 1, leaving the Gagarin Court in Moscow, where a hearing was held on the case of the withdrawal of funds abroad, the Izvestia correspondent reports.
"My mom and I are at home, she helps me a lot. Louis works from morning to night. I find things to actually do, and sometimes it even seems like I don't have enough time. <...> Building relationships without unnecessary, prying eyes is also an interesting experience, not when everything is done "on the picture", but just for yourself and for the soul," she explained.
Lercek attended the meeting accompanied by the father of her unborn child, 37—year-old Argentine choreographer Luis Squicciarini. She also has three children with her ex-husband Artyom Chekalin.
On the same day, Lercek pleaded not guilty in court to withdrawing funds abroad and stated that she did not understand the essence of the charges. The blogger stated that there was no crime event — according to her, the payment for the sale of the marathon was charged not to her, but to E-FITNESS-FZO, a company registered in the UAE. She was also involved in everything related to the organization and sale of marathons.
The former husband of blogger Lerchek, Artyom Chekalin, in turn, said in court that he was guilty of committing a tax crime, but had nothing to do with the withdrawal of funds from Russia. In addition, he did not agree with the statement that the crime was committed by an organized group.
On November 24, the Gagarin Court in Moscow extended the house arrest of Chekalina and her ex-husband for six months. At the same time, Lercek announced that her pregnancy was long-awaited.
