In the Chukotka and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Districts, Moscow and the Magadan Region, the average salary is more than 150 thousand rubles per month. This became known on November 30 from the data of the Unified Interdepartmental Information and Statistical System (EMISS).

"The average monthly nominal accrued wages of those working in the economy are: the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug — 192,934 [rubles], the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug — 173,480, the city of Moscow — 161,100, the Magadan Region — 152,498," TASS reports.

At the same time, in St. Petersburg, Yakutia, the Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrugs, as well as in the Moscow, Murmansk and Sakhalin regions, average salaries exceed 100 thousand rubles.

Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, said on November 29 that in some companies the employer will pay wages ahead of schedule if the usual payment date falls on the New Year holidays. It is noted that most often employers try to pay salaries to employees before the New Year, even if the payday does not fall on holidays.
