The kindergarten teacher in Gorodets bullied children for more than 25 years

A kindergarten teacher in Gorodets, Nizhny Novgorod region, has been bullying children for more than 25 years — all this time, local residents have repeatedly tried to bring her to justice. The mother of the injured boy told Izvestia about this on November 28.

According to her, the mother of one of the pupils attended the same kindergarten herself. Even then, the teacher practiced ambiguous parenting methods: she forced the child to stand on the tiled floor in his underwear as punishment for not being able to sleep in a quiet hour.

"And 25 years ago, the parents tried to collect signatures, contacted the local administration. It was useless, everything was to no avail, everything was always hushed up," the woman explained.

Now the parents have collected about 40 signatures for the dismissal of the teacher: among the signatories were both the parents of her wards and those who have yet to send the child to kindergarten. In addition, the appeal was signed by two kindergarten employees who know the situation from the inside.

"There were cases when children came home with bruises, with split lips, when children were thrown. There have been cases of broken fingers and fractured phalanges. She threw my child," said the victim's mother.

According to the woman, the teacher regularly isolated her son from the group and locked him in the bedroom because of his activity. She called another child a "dirty, smelly bum," and his mother gave him a heart attack with a phone call.

Earlier that day, an eyewitness told Izvestia that the kindergarten management in the Nizhny Novgorod region knew that one of the employees was mistreating pupils. At the same time, a criminal case was opened in the Nizhny Novgorod region about the torture of pupils from one of the kindergartens in Gorodets.

Prior to that, during the monitoring of the media and social networks, a publication and a story by a regional television company were revealed, in which it was reported that in one of the kindergartens of the city, educators were committing illegal acts against the pupils of the institution.
