A criminal case has been opened in the Nizhny Novgorod region on the fact of illegal actions against pupils of one of the kindergartens in Gorodets. This was reported on November 28 in the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.

"During the monitoring of mass media and social networks, a publication and a story by a regional television company were revealed, in which it was reported that in one of the kindergartens in Gorodets, educators commit illegal acts against pupils," the department said in a Telegram channel.

It is noted that the criminal case was initiated under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Torture"). The circumstances of the incident are now being established.

Earlier, on November 25, a criminal case was opened in the Moscow suburb of Istra due to the torture and detention of 24 teenagers with various addictions in an illegal rehabilitation center. According to the investigation, psychologists were supposed to work with minors, but teenagers were beaten and tortured.

On November 26, a former employee of the Khobotova rehabilitation center told Izvestia that one of the center's consultants had an intimate relationship with underage students.

Anna Khobotova, the founder of a rehabilitation center near Moscow where children were bullied, was put on the wanted list. The teenagers who were bullied in her rehab told Izvestia that Khobotova could be in Thailand.
