A teacher from Kharkiv quit because of lies in Ukrainian history textbooks

Vera Nikolaevna, a former teacher from the Kharkiv region, said that she refused to teach history according to the Ukrainian school curriculum because of the distortion of historical facts. She shared the story on November 28 in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"I started teaching the history of Russia and the Soviet Union <...> Especially for the ninth grade — the whole history of Ukraine was Western," said the teacher.
