The State Duma reacted to Callas' words about Ukraine not losing at the front
The words of the head of EU diplomacy, Kai Kallas, that Ukraine is not losing at the front are nonsense. Andrei Kolesnik, a member of the State Duma's defense committee, said this on Thursday, November 27.
Earlier, Callas called the claim that Kiev is losing the conflict false. According to the European diplomat, if the Russian Armed Forces (AF) could have won at the front, they would have allegedly already done so.
"She's talking nonsense, and this is an absolutely propagandistic statement that has nothing to do with real life. Let him carry on whatever he gets. Our troops continued to press and will continue to press the Armed Forces of Ukraine until victory is achieved," concluded Kolesnik.
On November 25, the US Permanent Representative to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, said that the Russian Armed Forces have a stronger position on the battlefield during a special military operation. Whitaker also added that negotiations to resolve the conflict are currently underway taking into account the "real state of affairs."
On the same day, Maxim Zhorin, Deputy commander of the 3rd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in several sectors of the front was rapidly deteriorating and becoming critical against the background of the rapid advance of the Russian army in the special operation zone. He noted that we are talking about improving the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in entire areas of special operations.
On October 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that a favorable situation was developing for Russia in the area of the special military operation. The Russian leader also stressed that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are active and moving forward in all sectors of the front.
