Sergeant-Major Alexander Kolychev, who performs tasks as part of the reconnaissance group, discovered two fortified dugouts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with enemy personnel and artillery, which were subsequently destroyed. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Thursday, November 27.
It was possible to establish the location of enemy positions during search operations, in which drones were used. The enemy and heavy artillery were located in the discovered dugouts.
After that, Kolychev sent the FPV drone towards the fortifications, at the same time adjusting the Allied artillery to destroy targets. As a result of the professional actions of the foremen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, they were defeated, and the Russian assault groups were able to gain a foothold in important positions.
The Ministry of Defense also said that Corporal Danila Filichkin discovered the approach of an enemy sabotage group during reconnaissance. After communicating the information to the command, the soldier changed the reconnaissance drone to a drone with a live charge and hit the target. As a result, the operation of the Ukrainian saboteurs was disrupted, and the strategic facilities of the Russian Army were protected.
A day earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported that Sergeant Rinat Kumarov, who is serving in the military as a grenade launcher assistant in a motorized rifle unit, delivered medicines and food to the positions of Russian troops under the attacks of enemy unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). During the return trip, the fighter evacuated two wounded Russian servicemen to the hospital.
