In Primorye, 33 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of the transport complex

In Primorsky Krai, about 33.2 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of the transport complex in 2026. The relevant information is reflected in the explanatory note to the draft law "On the regional budget for 2026 and the planning period of 2027-2028."

"The draft regional budget for 2026 provides for 33.186 billion rubles for the implementation of the measures of the state program for the Development of the transport complex, including 25.347 billion rubles from the regional budget and 7.839 billion rubles from the federal budget," the text of the explanatory note says.

According to PrimaMedia news agency, 8.47 billion rubles will be spent on construction and repair of roads. One of the most expensive objects will be the section of the Vladivostok – Nakhodka – Vostochny port highway, for which 4.16 billion rubles are provided.

The funds will also be used to upgrade the passenger transport fleet, support the aviation sector, design and set up weight control points, ensure transport security and other activities.

Earlier that day, the Federation Council unanimously approved the draft law on the Russian federal budget for 2026 and the planning period 2027-2028. The revenue side of the federal budget will amount to 40.2 trillion rubles in 2026 (17.1% of GDP), 42.9 trillion rubles in 2027 (16.8% of GDP) and 45.9 trillion rubles in 2028 (16.6% of GDP). Expenditures are planned in the amount of 44 trillion rubles (18.7% of GDP), 46.1 trillion rubles (18% of GDP) and 49.3 trillion rubles (17.9% of GDP), respectively.
