A court in Stavropol sentenced a local resident to 13.5 years in a high treason case. This was announced on November 16 by the prosecutor's office of the Stavropol Territory in its Telegram channel.

"The court found that the attacker, being an adherent of pro—Ukrainian ideology, sharing the methods and goals of the activities of law enforcement agencies opposing Russia, entered into correspondence with an unidentified employee of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in January 2024," the report says.

According to investigators, the defendant expressed his willingness to cooperate with the Ukrainian special services and, on the instructions of the curator, collected information about the location of Russian military units and facilities of the fuel and energy complex.
