In Gymnasium No. 1 in Vladivostok, an eighth-grade student sprayed gas from an aerosol gun during a lesson. This was announced on November 26 by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Primorsky Territory in the Telegram channel.
"According to preliminary data, an eighth grade student sprayed gas from an aerosol gun during a lesson. A 14-year—old student sought medical help," the publication says.
Juvenile affairs inspectors are working on site. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
The prosecutor's office has also launched an investigation into the incident.
"The agency will establish the circumstances of the acquisition of the weapon, its storage and transfer to a minor," the statement says.
Seven people were injured in the incident. According to Izvestia correspondent Evgeny Podtergera, one of the students received a slight chemical burn to her eyes. The attacker himself directed gas from a pistol at the area of the blackboard where the teacher was standing.
Earlier, on November 11, the Investigative Committee (IC) opened a criminal case after a fight involving two teenagers at a school in Ramenskoye, Moscow region. According to preliminary information, the incident occurred on November 10 at the Druzhba village school. There was a quarrel between two ninth graders during the measurement. Later, one of them took out a penknife and showed it to a classmate, and then punched him several times in the face.
