The Fifth Congress of Young Scientists starts on the federal territory of Sirius. At its site, the Moscow Innovation Cluster will present technological products created by researchers and start-ups with the support of urban development institutes, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"Moscow is one of the largest scientific and innovation centers in Russia. Every fifth domestic organization engaged in research and development is based here. 10 high-tech projects will be presented at the capital's stand. Among them are a robot for monitoring underwater objects, a solution for mining and unique materials for modern electronics," said Sergunina.

According to her, visitors will also be introduced to the urban ecosystem for innovators. The digital assistant will talk about its key products. Among them is a service for selecting internships in industry companies and a platform for finding research clients.

During the congress, entrepreneurs will learn more about the city's innovation piloting program and the "Customer Showcase", where requests from large businesses to develop solutions are published.

Special attention will be paid to services and training programs related to the protection and commercialization of intellectual property.

Moscow pays great attention to the creation, testing and implementation of modern solutions in various fields. An ecosystem has been formed in the city to support young developers, which helps them go through all the stages — from the idea to the product launch. It is based on such programs as the Academy of Innovators, the Innovator of Moscow competition and the Leaders of Digital Transformation hackathon. They have already been joined by more than 90 thousand inventors. About 60% of the participants are young people under 35 years of age.
