A criminal case has been opened in the Moscow suburb of Istra due to the torture and detention of teenagers in an illegal rehabilitation center. This was reported on November 25 in the press service of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region.

"A criminal case has been opened in Istra over the provision of services in a rehabilitation center for teenagers that do not meet safety requirements and led to the hospitalization of one of the guests," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to a source in Izvestia, a man has been arrested who is believed to be the organizer of a group involved in the torture and illegal detention of teenagers. At the same time, one of the teenagers, Roman, is now in intensive care in a coma. He was diagnosed with multiple bruises, and his kidneys had previously failed.
