The US Permanent Representative to NATO noted the superiority of the Russian Armed Forces in its combat zone.

The Russian Armed Forces have a stronger position on the battlefield during a special military operation. This was stated on November 25 by the US Permanent Representative to NATO Matthew Whitaker on Fox Business TV channel.

"The Russians definitely have a stronger position on the battlefield. <… > Every week they [Russian military personnel] achieve tactical successes," he said.

Whitaker also added that negotiations to resolve the conflict are currently underway taking into account the "real state of affairs."
