- The State Duma proposed to abolish penalties and fines on loans for women on maternity leave
State Duma deputies from the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) of Russia proposed to exempt women on maternity leave from penalties and fines on loans. This was announced on November 25 by party chairman Leonid Slutsky at an expanded meeting of the LDPR faction, which was broadcast on the website of the lower house of parliament.
"A bill has already been submitted to the Duma on debt cancellation and the introduction of a moratorium on the accrual of penalties on overdue loans to persons on parental leave for the entire period of such leave," he said.
The bill will protect both mothers of the first child and women from large families. If a family is temporarily insolvent on a loan for any reason, the bank should not impose penalties in the form of fines or penalties.
Senator Igor Murog said on November 24 that Russian women with many children can retire early: at the age of 57 with three children, at the age of 56 with four, and at the age of 50 with five or more. At the same time, you must have at least 15 years of insurance experience and at least 30 pension points. The senator noted that in the absence of an official length of service, a mother with many children can count on an old-age social pension, the amount of which is indexed annually and supplemented to the pensioner's subsistence level, if necessary.
