In Thailand, a man reported missing gold bars worth about 2 million baht (about 4.8 million rubles), which his mother, suffering from dementia, accidentally threw away along with household garbage. This was reported on November 24 by the Thai newspaper Daily News.

According to the man, three ingots ended up in the trash after the woman mistakenly threw away several packages. The surveillance camera footage, which he posted online, shows a garbage truck taking away a container with valuable cargo.

"My mother, who suffers from dementia, accidentally threw bags of three gold bars into the trash," the young man said.
