The capital region expects changeable weather in the coming week with a gradual increase in the impact of the anticyclone. As Tatiana Pozdnyakova, a leading specialist at the Meteonovosti news agency, told Izvestia on November 24, atmospheric pressure will gradually increase throughout the week, and by Saturday, November 29, the weather will be determined by an anticyclone, the center of which will be located over the east of the Chernozem region.

On Tuesday, November 25, light precipitation is possible in some places during the night hours, while no significant precipitation is expected during the day. The minimum temperature will drop to -2...-4 degrees in the Moscow region, and the daily values will be 0...+3 degrees.

"The wind is southwesterly, quite fresh at night, but it will subside during the day. On Wednesday, there will be a chance of temporary light precipitation with temperatures near zero at night and +2...+4 degrees during the day," the forecaster added.

On Thursday, the weather will be determined by an anticyclone over Poland, which will bring rather warm air with southerly currents. The night temperature will be 0...+5 degrees, daytime — +2...+7 degrees. Light to moderate rain is expected.

On Friday, the metropolitan region will be under the influence of a cold atmospheric front, and the temperature during the day will fluctuate between -3... +2 degrees. The wind will change from south to west.

"Saturday is forecast to be partly cloudy with no precipitation, with night frosts up to -1...-6 degrees and daytime temperatures at -2...+3 degrees. The temperature background remains above the climatic norm by about 4-5 degrees, which means the end of November with a positive anomaly in air temperature," concluded Pozdnyakova.

Representatives of the Moscow City Management Complex on Sunday, November 23, reported that on the night of Monday, November 24, a sharp deterioration in weather conditions is expected in the capital, which will be accompanied by a cold snap. According to experts, the temperature will drop below 0. In addition, they warned that ice could form in the area.
