Kindergarten in the style of watercolor painting to be built in Kommunarka
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced on Sunday, November 23, that a kindergarten decorated in the style of watercolor painting would be built in Kommunarka.
He noted that the building with rounded corners and a watercolor panel on the facade, made in the spirit of the works of artist Sergei Andriyaka, will become an ornament of the district. According to Sobyanin, the interior will also be unusual: white walls with colored stained glass doors and partitions will resemble album sheets with watercolor drawings.
The building will house 10 groups, a full-service food hall and a medical center. The gym and music halls are designed with a second light. Two sports grounds and 10 rubber-coated walking areas will be equipped on the adjacent territory, trees and shrubs will be planted, and flower beds will be created, Moscow 24 writes. After the construction is completed, the kindergarten with 250 places will be integrated into the city's education system. An educational complex with an area of almost 25 thousand square meters is being built nearby, designed for 1.1 thousand schoolchildren and 300 pupils.
Sobyanin also stressed that 47 educational facilities have been built in Moscow since the beginning of the year, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
