Sobyanin spoke about the creation of sports infrastructure in Moscow
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the capital continues to develop sports infrastructure near residential areas, taking into account the wishes of residents. This was announced on Sunday, November 23, by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
He noted that the purpose of the work is to provide Muscovites with comfortable places for training and outdoor recreation. According to him, the Dubrava Park in Kurkin has been renovated, the basketball and volleyball courts have been replaced, new stands and fencing have been installed. A beach volleyball area was put in order near a large urban pond in Zelenograd and exercise equipment was installed for warming up, Moscow 24 writes.
In the Yantarnaya Gorka Park in Bogorodskoye, instead of the outdated sports ground, a modern football and basketball zone with new equipment, exercise equipment and workout complexes has appeared. In the "Green Park" between Novogireev and Ivanovsky, the football arena was renovated and additional playgrounds for volleyball and sports were created.
Sobyanin also noted that an all-season playground for football, basketball and hockey has been improved near Ivanovsky Ponds, adding a skate park, exercise equipment, workout zones and an obstacle course, turning the territory into a full-fledged sports cluster, the Moscow City News agency reports.
