Dmitry Artamoshin, who was arrested in Noginsk, Bogorodsky city district, on charges of committing serious illegal acts against women, was a rude, inadequate and cunning man throughout his life. His former friend named Alexander told Izvestia about this on November 22.

"He (Dmitry. — Ed.) lived in our yard, yes. <...> He had an aunt and a father. He had not spoken to his father for 20 years, and neither had his aunt, and he had no other relatives. He was strange and rude all his life. <...> He is actually a very thoughtful and very, very cunning person," he said.

According to Alexander, Dmitry behaved differently in public, but he always had a "streak" that showed his inadequacy. The man clarified that earlier the maniac had a wife, whom he also beat, the woman's name was Svetlana. The woman, as the Izvestia interlocutor clarified, told about what her husband was doing to her many years after she and Dmitry broke up.

"She addressed (Svetlana. — Ed.) to the police, but they were married, so she couldn't do anything. There didn't seem to be any severe beatings for writing a statement, so it all somehow slipped away," he summed up.

On November 20, Izvestia spoke with Artamoshin's former employee, Roman, who said that after he was fired, he received threats against himself, which also extended to his wife. The man added that he saw how the maniac constantly beat his wife Polina, whom he eventually helped to escape. One of the victims who escaped from the maniac, named Anna T., told Izvestia that he forced her to use drugs, keeping her in his house, where she came to work as a nanny.

A source from Izvestia reported on November 20 that Artamoshin had been arrested by the Noginsk City Court. He is charged with serious crimes, including rape, sexual assault and murder. The man refused to testify. The press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation stated that Artamoshin searched for victims on Internet services, and when potential employees came to his house, they disappeared without a trace.
