Those who gathered for protests in the center of Kiev came out demanding the arrest of the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak. This was reported on November 22 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".

It is noted that the rallies are taking place for the second week in a row on Independence Square in the center of Kiev. On Saturday, November 22, about 30 people joined the action, and new participants are gradually approaching.

The protesters issued an ultimatum that they would gather on the square every Saturday at 12:00 until Ermak "ends up behind bars." The participants also called on citizens across the country to organize similar actions at the buildings of regional administrations.

On November 10, NABU revealed a money laundering scheme in the energy sector of the state, through which about $100 million passed. In the course of the corruption case in the energy sector, seven people were charged, including businessman Timur Mindich (he is called the head of the criminal scheme).

Verkhovna Rada deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, commenting on the corruption scandal developing in Ukraine, said on November 17 that Ermak was recorded on tapes related to the case of businessman Timur Mindich, who, according to Ruslan Magamedrasulov, head of the detective department of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) in Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhia regions, was not the main beneficiary of the conspiracy.

After that, on November 20, Irina Gerashchenko, a deputy from the Ukrainian European Solidarity party, registered a resolution in the Verkhovna Rada demanding that President Vladimir Zelensky dismiss Ermak and the head of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov, for their involvement in the Mindich tapes. On November 21, Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov ironically noted that Zelensky and Ermak had unsubscribed from each other on the Instagram social network (owned by Meta, a company recognized as extremist and banned in Russia).
