Footage of the work of the unit of the Center group of forces has been published

Units of the reconnaissance battalion of the 90th Guards Tank Division of the Center group of forces continue to destroy formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was announced on November 21 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"The divisions of the division are working methodically. Even through intercepted conversations, it is clear that the enemy is having a hard time — he refuses to complete tasks. The battalion is constantly at work," says battalion commander Vadim.

Calculations of small-sized radar stations (radars) of the Sobolyatnik reconnaissance are working at the forward points, which monitor enemy actions during combat duty. Their duties include reporting on the detection of firing points of barrel and rocket artillery, transmitting the coordinates of fixed targets and the routes of movement of equipment with a detailed description.

"The Sobolyatnik station is designed to detect enemy manpower and equipment. The station operates in all weather conditions, at any time of the day. We record the information and transmit it to the commanders," Vladimir, the station's senior operator, describes his work.

Operators of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) work together with the radar. They check the situation from the air, confirm the coordinates of the uncovered objects and adjust the group's firing means.

In combination with reconnaissance equipment, combat missions are performed by operators of FPV drones. They strike at enemy positions, destroy firing points and AFU equipment to disrupt supply chains and manpower rotation routes. They also clear the sky above the assault groups. In addition, UAV operators ensure the delivery of daily supplies of provisions, water and medicines to units operating at the front line.

"We are progressing well. We also work in delivering provisions and medicines to our guys," says Maxim Kirillov, an operator of the UAV.

The accuracy of military personnel's combat work in opening enemy targets, firing points, areas of deployment, movement of equipment, as well as route reconnaissance allows them to quickly provide up-to-date intelligence information to all units of a tank unit. Due to this, the pace of progress does not decrease, the Russian Defense Ministry stressed.
