On November 20, in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Nuremberg trials, the Russian Defense Ministry launched a multimedia project featuring declassified reports and summaries of the atrocities of Nazi criminals of the 20th century.

"Unfortunately, the threat of neo-Nazism is still relevant. Today we can clearly see its dangerous metastases in Ukraine and in a number of European countries. Resolute struggle against the manifestations of fascism and Nazism is fixed as the most important direction of the state policy of the Russian Federation," said Sergey Naryshkin, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Russian Historical Society.

Sergei Naryshkin, Director of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, stressed in a statement that Russia would continue to fight attempts to rehabilitate fascism and oblivion the victory over it.

Foreign experts point out that Western countries are trying to rewrite history, and the rehabilitation of the Nazis began shortly after the end of World War II.

"The Nuremberg trials were only a milestone, but did not have a lasting impact on the Federal Republic of Germany, founded in 1949. People involved in the Nazi regime held senior positions in Germany again after 1950," recalled German historian Frank Schumann.

Austrian analyst Patrick Poppel also pointed out the discrepancy between the support of modern fascists in Ukraine and the establishment of anti-fascist monuments in Europe.

Dieter Reinisch, an Austrian historian, stressed that history is being rewritten in the West, and Russian and Belarusian delegations are excluded from commemorative events, despite the fact that it was their armies that liberated Europe from fascism.

On November 20, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Western countries began to struggle with the historical truth about the Great Patriotic War 80 years ago — it began even within the walls of the Nuremberg Tribunal. It was noted that efforts to portray the aggressor as a victim quickly found a response in the reactionary press circles of Britain and the United States.
