In St. Petersburg, industrial enterprises will receive subsidies from the city authorities for the introduction of robotic systems. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Alexander Beglov.

As explained by 78.ru The measure is one of the steps in the implementation of Vladimir Putin's decree that by 2030 Russia should become one of the top 25 countries in the world in terms of robotics density.

It is planned that the subsidies will cover part of the costs, depending on the type and origin of the equipment. If the company uses robotic systems manufactured in St. Petersburg, it will be able to reimburse up to 80% of the costs. If the equipment was manufactured in other regions, then up to 50% of the costs will be compensated. In case of installation of foreign devices, up to 30% of the costs will be covered.

For one organization, the maximum subsidy amount is 10 million rubles, and 60 million rubles have been allocated in the city budget for the total payment of subsidies. The goal is to stimulate labor productivity growth in production areas by at least 10% and reduce production costs by 5-15%.

At the end of October, it was reported that in Russia, for the first time, the production of fully domestic micromotor gearboxes is being launched - components necessary for the operation of exoprostheses, robots, satellites and embedded intelligence technologies, when AI is placed in a physical object, such as a drone. A pilot batch of parts has already been released. Until recently, such micro-drives were not produced in our country, and enterprises were forced to purchase them abroad, which created risks for critical projects due to sanctions and supply disruptions.
