- In Russia, a platform for coordinating medical services under the LCA has been launched
Ingosstrakh, together with the international medtech platform MedRoket, launched the country's first unified platform for coordinating medical services under the LCA, the insurance company said.
According to Ingosstrakh, the approval of services is one of the most massive business processes in the voluntary health insurance market: insurers send tens of millions of letters of guarantee to clinics every year, most of which are processed manually by operators. Thanks to the introduction of an open API, data is exchanged directly between the information systems of the clinic and the insurance company, which makes it possible to speed up the provision of medical care to insured persons, the company explained.
"We have created an ecosystem where the interaction between insurance and the clinic has become seamless and transparent," said Gleb Kostyurin, Head of the Department for the Development of Digital Services in Medicine at Ingosstrakh. According to him, we are talking about a technology platform that any clinic and insurance company can join. "As a result, the main link wins — the patient, who receives medical care without delay," Kostyurin stressed.
Two large private clinics have already joined the platform, and the process of connecting new medical organizations is underway, Ingosstrakh reported.
