Denis Arapov, CEO of the joint editorial board of LIFE and SHOT, stated this during a panel discussion at the New Media Workshop, which was held at the Digital Solution forum. The expert cited the results of the VTsIOM survey for 2023-2024 on public confidence in the media.

"About 40% trust the news, and about 20% trust online publications. And another trend is that people are increasingly turning to niche media," Denis Arapov shared.

The head of the media said that after the emergence of a trend towards distrust of major media, SHOT began to publicize the editors of the channel, including through informal communication. According to the expert, this increased both the growth of the audience and its trust in the content.

"We not only create a feed based on audience suggestions, but we also make our subscribers partakers of the content by recording their comments and tagging them in posts. This personalization increases trust in the media," said the director of LIFE and SHOT.

According to the expert, without the trust of the audience, the media can become bankrupt.
