In the Moscow region it will be from -3 to +2 degrees during the day, at night the temperature may drop to -5 degrees.
Southerly and southeasterly winds with a speed of 3-10 m/s and gusts are expected.

Anatoly Tsygankov, head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Service's crisis Management department, told Izvestia on November 18 that an abnormally cold winter was not expected in Russia. The expert clarified that according to forecasts, the air temperature may indeed be lower than in the same period last year, but despite this, it is impossible to talk about anomalies. At the same time, he said that it is impossible to give a single assessment for the entire territory of the country because of its scale, at which it can be -40 degrees in Yakutia and +9 degrees in Moscow.
