New bus fare payment system to be introduced in Krasnoyarsk Region

A new public transport fare payment system will start operating in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on December 1. The SberTroika ticket system should simplify the fare payment process for passengers and carriers.

To connect a transport card to the new system, you must contact Krasnoyarsk Avtotrans between November 25 and December 1. The balance on the card will be transferred to the card with the new system within three business days.

It will be possible to replenish cards through mobile applications of various banks or through a personal account in the new system.

At the same time, you do not need to change your social card. However, it will not be possible to replenish it for more than one billing period before December 1.

KrasnoyarskMedia news agency notes that replenishment of transport cards is not possible yet. The exception is unlimited cards for one and 15 days.

Earlier, the mayor's office of Birobidzhan explained why it was decided to increase the cost of public transport from December 1 to 35 rubles. This is due to rising fuel, maintenance, and salary costs.
