The winners of the all-Russian walking competition "Walking Man" will be presented at Izvestia

On November 20, at 3 p.m., a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the Russian Walking Walking Championship "Walking Man" will take place in the Izvestia press center.

Participants:

-Leo Bokeria, President of the National Health League, Chief Freelance Cardiovascular Surgeon at the Russian Ministry of Health, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences;

- David Krishtal, Deputy Head of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia;

-Mikhail Panov, record holder of the Russian Book of Records in bungee jumping;

-Olesya Zykina, two-time Olympic medalist, world and European champion in athletics;

-Alexander Panzhinsky, Olympic silver medalist, Honored Master of Sports of Russia in cross-country skiing;

-Irina Ortman, Russian singer, TV presenter.

The Walking Man project is conducted by the National Health League with the support of the Russian Ministry of Sports and is part of the federal project "Sport is the Norm of Life."

2,471 teams from 81 regions of Russia joined the 2025 Championship, with more than 65,000 participants.

Over the seven years of its existence, it has become a symbol of mass support for a healthy lifestyle and active longevity.
