The number of online loans in Russia has increased fivefold in the first ten months of 2025, and the average amount requested has more than halved to 21,470 rubles. This is stated in the study "Compare.<url>", which was reviewed on November 19 by Izvestia.

Regional statistics show that residents of Moscow and the Moscow Region, as well as the Krasnodar Territory, Rostov and Sverdlovsk regions, most often apply for online loans.

The amount of the requested amounts varies markedly. In Moscow, the average request was 25,186 rubles, in the Moscow region — 24,366 rubles, in the Krasnodar Territory — 22,582 rubles, in the Rostov Region — 21,720 rubles, in the Sverdlovsk Region — 20,679 rubles.

"This growth indicates several trends in the market. Firstly, trust in online loan services continues to strengthen, and users increasingly appreciate the speed and convenience of receiving funds. Secondly, an increase in the average bill may be an indicator of the increased needs of citizens for additional financing for various purposes, from unforeseen expenses to small household purchases. We see that our financial marketplace effectively satisfies these requests by offering a wide range of offers from trusted partners," said Ivan Shcherbinin, Head of the MFI Development Department at <url>.
