The Russian Ambassador to Montenegro, Alexander Lukashik, was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this state because of his assessments of the decisions of the Parliament of Montenegro on the accession of the country's armed forces to the mechanism of the North Atlantic Alliance. This was announced on November 17 by the press service of the Montenegrin Foreign Ministry.

"Recent inappropriate statements and comments in the media are a clear example of open and unacceptable interference in Montenegro's internal affairs," TASS quoted the statement as saying.
