The Russian-Indian summit will take place, and the summit will be held in New Delhi in three weeks. This was announced on November 17 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, opening talks with his Indian counterpart Subramaniam Jaishankar.

"There will be a Russian-Indian summit in the Indian capital next month. Welcome again!" said the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

He added that during the current meeting in Moscow, the parties will also pay special attention to the bilateral issue, and the main part of the negotiations will focus on cooperation at the international level, within the framework of agreements reached by the Russian and Indian Foreign Ministries.

Jaishankar noted that this meeting is also important for the Indian side in preparation for the upcoming visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to India for the 23rd annual summit.

"A number of bilateral agreements, initiatives and projects in various fields are currently being discussed. We look forward to finalizing the agreement in the coming days. This will certainly give more meaning and texture to our special and privileged strategic partnership," Lavrov's Indian counterpart said.

The Economic Times newspaper reported on November 10 that Moscow and New Delhi plan to sign an agreement on labor mobility during the upcoming Russian-Indian summit to be held in India in December. According to the newspaper, the document is intended to simplify labor migration and will contribute to the growth of the number of Indian citizens working in Russia in the coming years.
