Fighters of the Center group repelled the helicopter landing of the GUR of Ukraine in Krasnoarmeysk

Soldiers of the 30th brigade of the Center group repelled an attack by soldiers of the special forces units of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine who landed from two helicopters on the outskirts of Krasnoarmeysk. The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on November 17.

"They landed in a field, it was about a kilometer away. <...> One of them immediately ran into the building and was immediately killed. The second one also tried, but nothing happened, and one more was wounded," recalls serviceman Igor Skornyakov.

Ukrainian special forces landed at night from two Black Hawk helicopters. With his operation, the enemy wanted to surprise the Russian fighters. After the failure, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) retreated back, but soon decided on a second attack, which also ended in failure for them.

As a result of the amphibious assault, only one surviving GUR soldier remained on the battlefield, Ruslan Shakhun, a representative of the Ukrainian special forces "Timura", who was wounded in the legs and eventually captured by Russian fighters. The comrades who abandoned him tried to retreat, but soon they themselves came under attack by Russian drones.

"We landed from the turntable. Everyone says, "elite, you are ready." What are you ready for? Without any training, without any means," the prisoner said.

The enemy was surrounded for two weeks without food at Dimitrov's and laid down his arms after seeing the Russian instructions for surrender.

A day earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that fighters from the Center group of forces had thwarted an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to break through to the north of Krasnoarmeysk. In addition, the Russian military repelled six attacks by units of the enemy's 425th assault regiment "Skala" from the area of the Grishino settlement of the DPR to unblock the encircled AFU group.
